I learn how to sing for 30 days.

I want to be able to sing, but is singing a talent or a skill?
I was curious, so I tried a challenge – can I become good enough to perform live by practicing how to sing daily for 30 days?

Apps used: “Sing Sharp” and “Vocalist Lite”
Autotune software: Melodyne

Runa Brown says:

I know this was two years ago when you filmed this, but thank you! As a person who has sung for almost five years, both classical music and modern, it drives me nuts when I listen to music and the singer sound like their singing from their throat, and in my opinion sounds a little bit like their a shrieking nightmare. Like you found out, singing from your diaphragm allows you to have a clearer, longer sound, as the pitch hits the back of your throat and travels out, instead of hitting the front of your mouth and then fading out before you can every take another breath. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for sharing this! Although I have no idea how that brrrhhh thing (I really hate doing that one) didn’t make you clamp your mouth shut. I’d had to clamp my hands over my mouth very three seconds to stop myself from laughing. My singing teacher was never impressed.
