Voltbreak says:

Android 8.0 offers users the latest in restricted and truncated app usage! Whether it’s Call Recording apps or taking screen shots on YOUR smart phone, Oreo 8.0 makes absolutely sure that you can’t use any app from any developer! But that’s not all! On certain phones, most notably Google’s own devices (Pixel, Pixel 2) and a few others like the Motorola Moto Z² Force, owners of Roku and Amazon Fire sticks will also be restricted from using screen casting to these devices from your smart phone! Why? This is done to force users to use Google’s own Chrome Cast! Chrome Cast is a subscription based device which keeps charging, and charging and charging users. Forget those other devices you may already be happily satisfied with or even love! Let Google extort you into using their devices and paying them more money!
So, if you were happy with your old phone and the expanded features of previous Android OS versions, think again! Prepared to be blown away by exactly how much you can’t do anymore! Fewer features! Built in exclusivity to Google’s own stuff! Zero access to certain types of apps (Wich developers have been particularly coded out of working around) and more!
If increased efeciency, expanded usage, and more person control over your device is what you want, forget it! Android 8.0 offers to take away so much more than it gives back to users! Enjoy!

Scott Levine says:

I’m confused, do you really think Oreo is really that necessary for the Note 8? I really hope someone can help me out with this. I know a lot of people really get excited for the newest version of their OS and rush right out to update their phone. You obviously already know I have a Note 8. I use Nova Prime on it as well as Gboard as a keyboard. If there is any other information you need in order o give me better advice please let me know. I’m a big believer to keep your security up to date, but not necessarily the OS version. I believe phones are optimized to whatever version of the OS that was around when their phone was built. Updating your phone may improve it, but can also unfortunately have an adverse affect and make it run worse. With that being said, does anyone think that Oreo will be an improvement over Nougat with Nova and Gboard? Are there any big features that are coming out that I don’t have (because that would be the only other reason to update it other than this OS making the phone run better)? I really appreciate your help in advance and again if you need to know what other apps and any other information in order to give me better advice please let me know. Based on watching this video I figured you definitely needed to know the phone, Nova, and Gboard. I also use some automation apps. I hope that’s all you would need. Obviously if it’s just going to run things a lot smoother than that can be a reason. I also love the original S Note app with Action Memo and Photo Note, Easy Chart, Idea Sketch, Sketchbook, etc. I was so disappointed that Samsung replaced it for Samsung Notes which I still don’t understand. Regardless, I finally got the full app to work and I really don’t want to risk losing it. So that’s another reason I’m reluctant to update to Oreo. I don’t want to lose that. What any advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
