‘Syrinscape’ Fantasy Music App Review.

The Bottled Imp first came across ‘Syrinscape’ created by Benjamin Loomes, at the UK Games Expo this year in June. We were blown away, and it wasn’t because the music was loud!

Syrinscape is a music and sound effects app that adds evocative ambient background sound and a movie-like soundtrack to your tabletop gaming and RPG experience. There are lots of sounds to choose from. From ethereal forests and stony shorelines to dank vermin-filled dungeons and the spooky depths of the underdark.

Now the techy bit. Thought it best to quote from the Syrinscape website for this!
“SoundSets are made up of numerous independently controllable ‘elements’, each representing a component of the audio environment. Each ‘element’ distributes randomly chosen samples into the 3D environment surrounding the listener. All this works together to create immerse sound with no annoying repetitions or patterns.” So that’s clear, right?

The Syrinscape Fantasy Player is available on PC, MAC, Android Tablets/Phones and iPads/iPhones.

Visit their website to download it for free, bundled with two evocative SoundSets: ‘Witchwood’ and ‘Bugbear Battle.’

I really like this. I was planning on buying this app on the spot….but then you said that you have to pay a monthly fee and not just buy it.
I don’t think I want another monthly bill. Shame.
