was about to download it to test but then saw it insists on accessing your contacts. f that. My contacts have nothing to do with google. Hate this modern invasive shit.
Hi Andy! thanks for the comprehensive review. I’m having one issue with it, probably my own limitation, but there are three options for GPS on my Android tablet – Verizon GPS, Google GPS and a “standalone GPS.” When I check the standalone, I get a window that basically says if I choose this option, anyone and anything can access my system. When I try either the Google or Verizon, Waze has a notification at the top of the screen that I don’t have a GPS enabled, even though it can map out a route, load the traffic reports, etc. Just no voice prompts. Ideas??
Hey Andy! Nice review. Have you tried changing names of streets? Or at least adding alternate names on the map editor? I was hoping that doing so would make the street easily found in the search results. It didn’t work when I tried.
Downloaded Waze, only thing is…if your driving you can’t enter all that info into the app that you see when driving, needs hands free voice to give all that info on road conditions etc. Also, how the hell do you activate voice anyway on this? Don’t see any options.
Can you say “My name is Bond, James Bond” You have that cool upper class British accent.

I am new using it so far so good.
Poorly planned presentation. Reviewer is easily distracted by features he bumps into and even surprised by some of them.
